1. Agreement to Terms By accessing [https://www.smarthireai.in](https://www.smarthireai.in), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using our platform.

2. License and Access (No-Download Policy) Smarthire AI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access our payroll software as a service (SaaS).

Restriction: You shall not attempt to download, copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or decompile any part of the software.
Cloud-Only: The service is provided strictly via the cloud; no executable files will be provided to the user.

3. Freemium Model and Fair Usage

Free Tier: Our free version is limited to a maximum of 10 active employees. Access to advanced features, such as PDF report generation, bulk data export, and statutory report downloads, is strictly disabled.
Paid Tier: Upon successful subscription, these features are unlocked. We reserve the right to modify feature availability across plans with 30 days' notice.

4. Statutory Compliance and Liability Disclaimer Smarthire AI is an automation tool designed to assist with payroll calculations based on current Indian laws (Provident Fund, ESI, Professional Tax, etc.).

Accuracy: While we strive for 100% accuracy, the User (Employer) is responsible for verifying the final figures before salary disbursement.
Liability: Smarthire AI shall not be held liable for any penalties, legal fines, or interest charges arising from incorrect data entry or delays in statutory filings by the user.

5. Subscription and Automatic Renewal All subscriptions are managed via Razorpay. By subscribing to a monthly or yearly plan, you authorize us to charge the recurring fee automatically. In compliance with RBI e-mandate guidelines, you will receive a notification 24 hours before any recurring debit.
